In May 2011, a portrait of Bishop Catherine S. Roskam was unveiled at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York. Roskam was the first female to be elected bishop in the Diocese of New York, and only the fourth female bishop in the Episcopal Church. The portrait was commissioned as part of a celebration of the 15th anniversary of Bishop Roskam's consecration.
