Commission FAQ: What if I'm not happy with the final portrait?

There are many great reasons to work with a Portraits, Inc. associate, and one of the best is that all of their efforts will be directed toward making sure clients and artists are well matched, that the commission progresses smoothly, that issues are resolved quickly and that everything possible is done to ensure that the client and artist are delighted with the portrait.

“It is comforting for clients to know my job is to facilitate the entire process so they enjoy working with the artist and end up with a portrait they are proud to own,” says Kathy Southerland, one of our associates. “I work very hard to make sure both that the client loves the portrait and the artist is pleased with his finished work of art. In the end, I want both to feel the experience has been very special and rewarding.”

The artists represented by Portraits, Inc. are among the most talented and professional in the world, and the portrait the client receives generally exceeds their expectations.

However, in the rare instance adjustments are needed on the portrait, the associate will help communicate those specific requests to the artist so that he or she can make changes. We do everything possible to ensure that our clients are more than satisfied with the finished portrait.
