Maggie Miller

Maggie Andrews Miller lives in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, with her husband, Hank, and their sons, Henry and Mac. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and also lived in Birmingham, Alabama, where her aunt, Portraits, Inc. owner Beverly McNeil, introduced her to art and fine portraiture at a young age. Her love of theater and art led her to become an associate with Portraits, Inc. in 2015.

Maggie holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from UNC–Chapel Hill and most recently worked as the Drama Director and Fine Arts Department Chair at Cape Fear Academy in Wilmington, North Carolina. As an actress, she has been actively involved in local community theater productions for more than 20 years, performing in works ranging from Shakespeare to modern dramas, comedies, and musical theater.

She currently serves on the board of the North Carolina Theatre Conference, which promotes quality theater across the state through service, leadership, and advocacy, as well as on the board of Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts in Wilmington. In addition, she is actively involved in her children’s school, Cape Fear Academy, her church, First Presbyterian, and the Harbor Island Garden Club.

At no additional cost, Maggie guides her clients through the entire portrait process—assisting with artist selection, handling logistics, managing communication, and coordinating framing and lighting.
