Liza Cardinal Simpler

Liza Simpler has been a sales associate with Portraits Inc. since 2023. This position furthers Liza’s long history of involvement in the arts. After 17 years of classical dance training followed by 10 years as an arts educator, Liza is excited to pursue her interest in the arts through fine art portraits. 

Growing up surrounded by family portraits, she had her first experience with Portraits, Inc twenty years ago when Bart Lindstrom was commissioned to paint her portrait. With fond memories of the artist selection process, photo shoot and final unveiling, Liza loves helping clients find the perfect match and making their experience effortless and fun!

Born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama, Liza graduated from The Montgomery Academy and the University of South Carolina. She has served on numerous boards including the Junior Board of the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts, President and board member of Clefworks and the Alabama Dance Theatre. She is married to Miland Simpler and has two children.
