Jeanie du Pont

Her experience in the field unparalleled, Jeanie has represented portrait artists for over 30 years. Based in New York City, she has worked with clients from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware and surrounding areas in the Northeast and all the way to South America, Europe and more.

Jeanie has been personally involved in portrait commissions for prominent figures in government, business, the legal and medical professions, religious and academic institutions, professional athletics, private clubs and other institutions. She also has extensive experience in family portrait commissions—from adults and children of all ages to dogs, cats, horses and more, not to mention homes and boats. 

Jeanie loves meeting new clients and helping match them with the artist right for their needs. She understands how important it is to first find the perfect fit, and to then represent both the client and artist throughout the entire process. From commissioning the actual painting (or drawing or sculpture), to delivery and acceptance of the final portrait, she is involved in all aspects and will also help with framing at the end if needed.

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Jeanie graduated from the University of Utah. She then moved to New York City where she and her husband now live. Active in various organizations, she loves travelling, spending time with her family and friends and pursuing a variety of hobbies including tennis, fishing, golf and skiing.
