Elizabeth has been in the portrait business for over 25 years and, in recent years, has been recognized as a Top 10 sales associate. Based in New Canaan, Connecticut, she provides full service to her clients, guiding them through every step of the portrait process—from selecting an artist to framing and installation. She treasures the portraits she commissioned of her three children and brings a deep appreciation for both the client and artist perspectives. Elizabeth especially values the unique relationship that develops between artist and client—a collaborative, often fascinating experience that results in meaningful, lasting works of art. She has worked with families, schools, colleges and universities, judges, and historical institutions throughout New England.

Born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Durham, North Carolina, Elizabeth graduated from Middlebury College and Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. She worked in marketing for American Express, MasterCard, and First Data Corporation. After starting a family, she chose to pursue her passion for art and began her career in portraiture. Elizabeth and her husband, Rab, have lived in New Canaan for more than 30 years, with the exception of a three-year assignment in London, during which she maintained her portrait business and developed relationships with overseas clients and artists.

A dedicated volunteer, Elizabeth actively contributes to her New Canaan community and has served on several non-profit boards, including Waveny Park Conservancy. She enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and playing tennis, paddle, squash, and golf with family and friends.
